PicoSure laser tattoo removal

PicoSure uses the latest the latest Picosecond laser to effectively remove tattoos from all body areas.

It has never been easier and quicker to remove unwanted tattoos. Tattoo removal technology has truly come a long way. A significant amount of research and development has led to the launch of PicoSure, the most talked about laser in the cosmetic industry.

PicoSure laser tattoo removal vs nanosecond laser

The before and after photos below show that even dark, stubborn blue and green inks, as well as previously-treated or stubborn tattoos can be removed.

PicoSure’s ultra-short pulse duration goes beyond photothermal action creating an intense photomechanical impact, patented PressureWave™, resulting in greater disruption of the targeted ink for better clearance with fewer treatments, less fluence and without injury to the surrounding skin.

The PressureWave™ technology shatters the target ink into tiny particles that are easily eliminated by your body.

Traditional nanosecond lasers rely on photothermal action, which delivers heat to the pigment and surrounding tissue.

How many treatments will I need to remove my tattoo?

This will vary from person to person as each individual is unique and our bodies do react differently to treatments.  Factors to take into account are the size and location of your tattoo, the colours used, if it is already a cover up tattoo, and is also dependent on your skin tone.

The best way to determine how many sessions are required is by booking a free consultation and speaking with one of our medical team members.

Is it a painful treatment?

Laser can be uncomfortable. We do, however, make your comfort our main priority.  We use a prescription numbing cream and a cooling device.

The laser light pulses produced by the PicoSure laser may feel similar to a slight rubbing or flicking of a rubber band, although the apparatus does not touch the skin.

We also use the highest quality post care products available to ensure a safe healing environment.

Testimonials

Extremely pleased with my laser tattoo removal treatment. Alessandra made me feel so comfortable and at ease through out the entire treatment. I have no hesitation coming back. Highly recommended! Thank you.*

Monique, Gold Coast.

Clearing this beauty’s hand, this client of mine had previously been treated with a Q-Switch laser which is why the first finger (tusk) was not treated as she has been left with scarring. The scar tissue may have been formed by the tattooist or many other reasons.
By no means have Q-Switched lasers not achieved results in the past, however, technology has changed and we have advanced significantly into the picosecond technology now available!  I cannot wait to see the final results of this one.
This tattoo contains white ink which can oxidise, there is shading and she has scar tissue present, but we can still ensure a safe removal. Stay tuned for progress.*
