Dermapen vs Radio Frequency Microneedling
At Laser Skin Centre we are here to educate and inform you before you make any decision with cosmetic treatments.
With so many treatments available to the public, you may be asking what’s the difference between the two treatments?.
Radio Frequency Microneedling is one of the most advanced technologies used, as our 3 deep technology from Endymed.
It has the benefits of mechanical impact with our nurses able to treat as deep as 3mm with needle penetration and bulk heating the surrounding tissue to 42 degrees Celsius. This activates fibroblasts cells to produce healthy collagen remodelling.
This is perfect for active acne, acne scarring, enlarged pores, fine to medium lines and general volume replacement!
Generally speaking and depending on the concern only 3-6 treatments are required with Radio Frequency Needling to get the desired result with maintenance treatments in the future.
Dermapen is still a great treatment that we also offer here in the clinic as it works through mechanical impact to create a micro-injury to produce collagen remodelling but without the added bonus of bulk heating. 6-12 treatments are required to get the desired results.
